In Sker Ritual, you journey back to 1914, entering a world where Elisabeth Williams has taken control of Sker Island, a place cursed by terrifying entities called The Quiet Ones. To wield power over the island, she intends to broadcast the chilling Siren's Song, a hypnotic melody that lures listeners to their deaths. You join forces with Arianwen, her daughter, who stands against her mother’s sinister plans. 

As you navigate through this perilous journey, slain enemies might drop "Miracles"—randomly dropped powers tied to Celtic Gods that can significantly enhance your combat abilities. These can range from upgrades to your shooting, melee, and healing abilities, to grenades, and even to an "Ultimate" power reserved for tight situations. Diving deeper into customization, the game offers a collection of interchangeable masks that can instill fear in different ways. 

Further adding to the game’s depth is the inclusion of The Laughing Policeman’s booth. At his station, players can purchase regular items or gamble for potentially more powerful weapons, introducing a risk-reward aspect to the game’s strategy. However, this captivating experience is not without its darkness. The game does not shy away from depicting violence and gore, making it suitable for mature players.
